MUNSTER HOLY CROSS

The nucleus of the former monastery village of Bergen is the “Heilig Kreuz” cathedral.
From 976, Benedictine nuns and later Jesuits shaped the village and the entire surrounding area.
The baroque church with its Romanesque campanile – the only one of its kind in Bavaria – bears witness to a great history.

From agriculture and brewery to today’s 4-star superior hotel with top culinary delights, the Böhm family is now the tenth generation to run the Romantik Hotel Zum Klosterbräu.

Centuries of tradition have made the Klosterbräu what it still is today: Unadulterated and authentic Bavarian hospitality.

Zum Klosterbräu has grown over the years – the entire ensemble is a listed building – and is characterized by the different styles of the various generations.
